The Indian Statistical Institute offers a one year Post-Graduate Diploma in Statistical Methods and Analytics at the Chennai Centre of the institute at Chennai, India. The programme is intended to provide a comprehensive training in basic theory and applications of Statistical Methods and Analytics, in addition to some exposure to Mathematics and Computer Science.

Post Graduate Diploma in Statistical Methods and Analytics An applicant must possess (i) 3 year Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Mathematics as a subject or (ii) B. E / B. Tech degree or any other qualification considered equivalent (such as AMIE).
Selection Procedure Selection is based on the academic records and performances in a written test and an interview. The written test consists of multiple choice questions in Basic Mathematics at pass / minor level of bachelor’s degree.
Fees There are no tuition fees for the programme.
The programme starts from July 2023 and is conducted in two semesters with five courses in each semester. All the students will be required to spend one week at the Head Quarters of the Institute at Kolkata between the two semesters.
